SOREN ODOM
Fighting Owl Films Music Laureate Soren Odom (voice of Herbie & film composer) was first introduced to Thomas Smith while working as a script supervisor on Smith’s slasher flick Camp Hill. The two had many a conversation before the idea of original music came up for the short entitled “Shadows.” As questions arose about the role of Herbie, the talking skeleton, Soren stepped up to the plate and paid his dues as a crew member in the short “The Night Shift.” Jumping into movie scores Soren discovered his talents for composing. Soren reprises his role of Herbie in the film and is currently a film major at the University of South Alabama with a minor in music.
